Web host MonsterMegs announced this week that it is accepting Bitcoin payment for its hosting services.
Based on the international appetite for its hosting services, there are MonsterMegs customers that can’t pay with traditional payment methods such as PayPal or credit card. With Bitcoins, it is now able to cater to all kinds of customers, regardless of the possible restrictions in their country.
“It has become quite obvious that Bitcoin accepted hosting is a growing market,” Kevin Kopp, MonsterMegs founder said in a statement. “Since we have started accepting Bitcoins, we have seen a dramatic increase in sales. We believe this is directly related to the limited number of reputable web hosts currently accepting this as a payment option.”
MonsterMegs web hosting plans include cPanel, free website migration, clustered failover DNS, and the latest versions of PHP, MySQL and Apache. Hosting plans also include CloudLinux, Softaculous one-click script installer, RVSkin, CloudFlare CDN and LiteSpeed web server.
Based outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, MonsterMegs servers are located in the PhoenixNAP and LeaseWeb/EvoSwitch in the Netherlands.
MonsterMegs offers shared web hosting, reseller hosting and semi-dedicated hosting solutions.
